# public keys (cryptography) these are my `age`, `minisign`, and `signify` public keys. if you don't know what that means, you should turn back. (or ask me about it! :3) if i need to sign a message or file, i will most likely use the [minisign public key](/public-keys/?doc=minisign-public-sanku.txt), or a new key itself signed with that. as such, you may wish to keep it around somewhere in order to reliably verify messages. you can use my [age public key ("recipient")](/public-keys/?doc=age-recipient-sanku.txt) to encrypt a message or file, and only i will be able to read it. note: the [signify key](/public-keys/?doc=signify-sanku.pub) is being retired, and you'll find a signed [message](/public-keys/README-new-key.txt) confirming the switch to minisign. the message is signed by both keys, and i've provided scripts to verify it for your convenience, given you have the tools installed.
